Here's a picture I snapped of Cleo helping us prepare dinner. She's supervising Greg while he cuts up the veggies.

Christmas tree
We put up our Christmas tree. Here's what it looked like last year, the first day we put it up with all of the decorations:
If you look close, you'll see Cleo is hiding out in the middle of it. Here's what it looks like now:
It's a sad remnant of what it once was, but it is still looks somewhat like a tree. The kitties still like climbing up and down it. We put presents underneath it and every day the kitties rearrange them.

Yosemite
Hey guys! I made a blog so I could share some of my California life with you. Here are some pictures Greg and I took from our visit to Yosemite.
This was a little bit past the entrance to the park. There were a lot of big cliffs like this.
There were also a lot of deer around the park. They weren't afraid of people at all, and a lot of people would crowd around them to take pictures.
This was called Mirror Lake, for obvious reasons.
Here we are sitting right by one of the cliffs overlooking the park.
There was a coyote hanging out on the side of the road, so Greg and I had to pull over to take some pictures. He wasn't afraid of the car either, he just walked right up to it.
These were the Redwood trees. They were almost eerie to look at, they were so large.
Aside from their size, they are very recognizable because their bark is a lot lighter than that of the trees around them.
Greg standing by a Redwood tree that fell over awhile back. You can see they have very shallow roots.
Here's some reference just to give you an idea of how big they are. Their bases can grow up to 25 feet in diameter!
Here I'm doing the yoga "tree" pose.
In the middle of the night one night, Greg heard a constant squeaking and clawing sound. He woke up to find this.
We both had a laugh at that. I said, it's better they do that in the hotel room than in our apartment.
We hiked to the top of a waterfall, and this was the view from the top. You can see how high we are by the tiny size of the people walking on the trail to the left.
Here is a close up of that same picture to show the people.
